Editor’s Favorite Excerpts from George Q. Cannon’s Journal

$20.00

This little gem of a book draws from the excerpts in George Q. Cannon’s Journal – Exceptional Excerpts. It is a compilation of the editor’s favorite parts from the larger book, which had already been culled from the entire George Q. Cannon journal. It’s like reading the cream of the cream. George Q. Cannon was the “face of Mormonism” in the last third of the nineteenth century. To read his words is to read the words of a man who lived a life that qualified him for Celestial glory, and provides a pattern for the reader to follow who is pursuing that same dream. This book is 161 pages in an 8.5 x 11 format.

Description

The front cover of this short little gem is similar to the cover of its larger parent work, George Q. Cannon’s Journal – Exceptional Excerpts, but it is the editor’s favorite excerpts-of-the-larger-excerpts-book, or the “best of the best” nuggets. Beyond these best excerpts, you will find an overview of George’s life, a focused index of the contents, as well as some powerful discourse extracts from George’s many, many talks that were transcribed.

Be aware and prepare yourself by realizing that some of the content from him, whom some called the “chief strategist” of the LDS position during the severe conflict with the U. S. Government (see back cover), will indeed challenge your current understanding and hopefully will cause you to want to research further into his larger work and beyond. This man fully qualified for exaltation and his life’s excellent example will afford you wonderful insights of what you or anyone who wants to do likewise will have to pattern after.

This book is 161 pages in an 8.5 x 11 format.
